Teaching procedures教学过程:

Step 1 Review

1 Revise the words about jobs we learned before .

2 Free talk: students talk about what they want to be when they grow up.

3 Fill in the form: I can talk about my dreams, I can use want to be and want to do.

Step 2 Cartoon time

1 Watch and choose a title for cartoon time

A. We all have a dream

B. Bobby's dream

C.They all have a dream

2 Read cartoon time and fill in the form 

3 Students talk like this according to the form:.

Bobby wants to be a scientist, he will read many books

Step 3 Reading time

1 Students try to read cartoon time. Learn to link the words.

2 Ticking time: I can link the words together.

3 Retell the story.

Step 4 Consolidation

1 Students talk about their dreams in pairs.

2 Students report their partner's dreams to the class like this:

My friend... wants to be a ...when he/she grows up. He /she wants   to....He/she will....

Step 5 Homework

1. Read cartoon time loudly, try to link the words together.

2. Review Unit 8.

教学反思:

译林版小学英语六年级下册第八单元Our dreams (cartoon time) 是说明型的语篇阅读教学,是story time的延续。本篇短文阐述性较高,趣味性较低,所以为了避免学生学习过程中的枯燥乏味之感,提高学习本文的趣味性非常重要。因此,在阅读过程中,重在培养学生的阅读兴趣,教会学生简单的阅读策略。   小学高年级学生已有一定知识经验积累,出现了初步的抽象思维,逐步能透过现象深入事物的本质,已能预见事物的结果。因此,我根据学生的认知规律安排教学活动,也要针对不同学生的不同学习能力,采取不同的教学引导或师生合作、生生合作等形式,让所有的学生都能参与课堂活动,以便各有所获而课堂中,对于学生敢于提出问题的行为,我首先应给予肯定,至于提出、回答的正确与否,则是第二位的,可以由学生集体讨论逐步澄清。只有这样,才能创设一种宽松、和谐、合作、民主的课堂气氛,也只有在这样的课堂气氛中,才能使每个学生树立起学习的信心,让学生体验成功的喜悦我认为,激发学生对学科兴趣的过程中,不能只停留在课堂表面的“活”,“乐”中。我们更要注重学科本身,从学得后产生的成功体验来不断滋长兴趣,挖掘学生学习的内驱力。在教学中我们应该做到面向全体,分层教学。在教学过程中,不可回避的如何对待优中差生。我们设计的活动要注重面向全体学生,难度适中,让大家都参与。可以根据学生的个人素质,性格特点,记忆力反应速度等,因材施教,分层要求,以求最有效的激励机制促学生不断上进。 上完课后,我看看每个环节,好像都是环环相扣,但是对于文本再构这块显得有些力不从心。再者,就是对于篇章的定位处理稍欠全面,至于写作指导是比较到位的。
